Conferences Attended 2016 e-Tech Africa Conference and Expo. The conference and expo ran under the theme “Creating a Climate for Innovation and Access to Global Markets”. The conference was spearheaded by the ministry of ICT Postal and Courier Services and it was held at the HICC, in Harare from the 9th to the 11th of March 2016. The main theme incorporated 7 sub-themes and discussion sessions that included, e-Government, Cyber security, Tele-medicine, e-Commerce, e-Waste, development of fiber-to-the-home and innovation hubs (FTTH). The objectives of the conference were to determine the status of each sub-theme in Zimbabwe and to come up with resolutions that would assist us to develop our knowledge and expand our use of ICTs as a country. The conference and expo drew people from the ICT industry, civil society, academia and government to a discussion platform for ICT national development as well as ICT development in Africa.
