Thesis Title: Conversion of carbon dioxide and epoxides to cyclic carbonates using functionalized MOFs.
Nicola is an MPhil in Chemistry student specializing in the design and functionalization of Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) for CO₂ capture and catalytic conversion of CO₂ and epoxides into cyclic carbonates. Nicola recently completed her BSc Honours Degree in Industrial Chemistry and has research interests in materials chemistry, catalysis, environmental remediation, and sustainable technologies. Her work focuses on developing innovative MOF-based materials that contribute to green chemistry and carbon utilization solutions.
