Thesis Title: simultaneous release of multi-drugs for tuberculosis treatment using Metal Organic Frameworks

Shelter is a Doctor in Philosophy student in Chemistry at Midlands State University, Zimbabwe. With a deep passion for scientific advancement, education, and discovery particularly in drug delivery, her research focuses on the Simultaneous and sequential  release of multi-drugs for tuberculosis treatment using Metal Organic Frameworks”. Her previous research have spanned a wide array of topics, including Nanotechnology, Renewable Energy, Photovoltaics, Inorganic Chemistry and Water Treatment. She has attained degrees in Bachelor of Science, BSc Honors in Chemistry and MSc in Chemistry at the University of Fort Hare in South Africa. She also holds a Postgraduate diploma in Tertiary Education (MSU), Diploma in Biblical Studies & Christian Leadership (AMFCC) as well as a Certificate in Food Safety and Hygiene Management (COH&S). She is currently a lecturer in the Department of Chemical Sciences at the Midlands State University committed to inspiring the next generation of chemists.

Outside of her academic pursuits, she is a part-time AMFCC lecturer, passionate about community outreach, scientific advocacy, hair dressing, entrepreneurship and empowerment of the youths, striving in excellency. She enjoys participating in local science fairs, workshops, and public lectures to promote science education and awareness. On her free time, she loves exploring nature, music, reading, and staying updated with the latest advancements in  current affairs as well as science and technology.
