Thesis Title: The catalytic conversion of CO2 to useful products using chemical and biological catalyst supported on metal organic frameworks

Linia completed her MSc in Chemistry at the University of Zimbabwe and her BSc Honors’ degree in chemistry at the University of South Africa. Linia also has a National certificate, National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in Chemistry from Masvingo polytechnic. Her PhD studies involved engineering defects in MOFs to create large pores capable of supporting both chemical and biological catalysts for carbon dioxide conversion. Linia is supervised by Professor Gift Mehlana and Professor Banothile Makhubela
