During this practical component, participants were trained to operate the single-crystal diffractometer and to refine crystal structures using both APEX and X-Seed software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through participation in this programme, Isaac acquired essential skills in crystal analysis using SCXRD and data processing up to the generation of CIF files suitable for publication. Additionally, arrangements have been made to allow remote access to the Stellenbosch laboratory for crystal analysis.
