Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the following post:




  • A degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized institution;
  • A Masters in Construction Project Management is an added advantage;
  • Minimum of 3 years practical and hands-on experience in related functions;
  • Ability to use packages such as Microsoft Projects;


  • Production of accurate bills of quantities, schedule of materials and procurement plans for University projects (new projects and maintenance works);
  • Accurately building up rates and pricing scope of works;
  • Participating with the design team in conceptualising infrastructural alterations and additions;
  • Liaising with nominated subcontractors on site and evaluating their claims including site re-measurements;
  • Preparing departmental budgets and control expenditures;
  • Diligently compiling monthly progress reports, site measurements and interim valuations;
  • Formulating tender specifications and preparation of associated tender documents in liaison with the Procurement Management Unit;
  • Undertaking cost-analysis for maintenance projects;
  • Production of projects programme of works and managing its implementation;
  • Performing any other technical duties as assigned by the Director for Projects and Maintenance;
