The research focus embraces national aspirations with the aim of having an impact through innovations and technologies. The University emphasises on high quality research that is of international standards and profers global solutions to problems bedevilling mankind. The Postgraduate Studies at MSU has grown phenomenally over the past three years with more than 30% of academics being PhD holders and over 50% pursuing doctoral studies in national, regional and international universities.
