Research Topic: Chemical and biological conversion of carbon dioxide to methanol using metal-organic frameworks as support materials.
Maureen graduated with a distinction in her MSc studies at Rhodes University in 2017
Her MSc studies focused on the synthesis, characterisation and evaluation of benzoxaborole-based hybrids as antiplasmodial agents. Maureen’s PhD studies focus on developing methods that can support both biological and chemicals catalysts in MOFs for carbon dioxide capture and conversion to methanol.
