POST A: MACHINE OPERATOR-BINDER X 1
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the Clothing /Footwear Industry
- A certificate in the Clothing / Footwear industry would be an advantage
- Ability to work with speed
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for:
- Tending specific machines for lasting, cutting, closing, and finishing footwear products.
- Performing routine maintenance on the machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Examining finished products for defects and variations, and reporting faults in machines.
- Working with other team members, including supervisors and engineers, to ensure the smooth running of the production process.
- Adhering to safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
