STAFF VACANCY 

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the following post:

FIELD GENERAL HAND – CANNABIS CENTRE KWEKWE CAMPUS

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• At least 5 ‘O’ levels including English and Science.
• Candidate must be a non-smoker and without any criminal record.
• At least two (2) years of working experience as a gardener or general hand on a farm.
• The candidate should be 20 – 40 years, a self-starter, physically fit and can withstand extended working hours.
• Any experience in working with cannabis at a cannabis farm is an added advantage.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate would be required, among other duties to:

• Prepare, plant, weed, irrigate cannabis fields
• Scout pest and diseases in cannabis fields regularly
• Control pests and diseases in cannabis fields
• Propagate cannabis using cuttings. 
• Make records of tools/ equipment and farming inputs
• Keep agriculture tools clean 
• Harvest and grade cannabis flowers, seed and fiber
• Put water into storage tanks for use 
• Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the cannabis team.
