Radio Station (Zvishavane Campus)
Post A: Producer/Presenter (News & Current Affairs) (1 post)
QUALIFICATIONS
- An Honours Degree in Communication/Journalism/Media Studies with at least a 2.1 class.
- At least one-year post-qualification working experience in a broadcasting set-up.
- A Masters Degree in Communication/Journalism/Media Studies will be an added advantage.
- At least one year working experience at an institution of higher learning will be an added advantage.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate must be capable of producing content for the station. Duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Researching for shows/bulletins through gathering information.
- Making sure that the guests/sources are booked.
- Investigating trending topics to be dissected on air.
- Promoting events and outside broadcasts for the station.
- Writing scripts for news, programmes adverts, and promotions.
- Doing voice-overs for news, programmes adverts, and promotions.
- Edit pre-recorded programmes.
- Generating revenue for the station.
- Any other duties as may be assigned.
