POST A: SALES AND MARKETING OFFICER- MSU ENTERPRISES (X1)

The incumbent will be responsible for handling all marketing activities and functions including initiatives directed at brand awareness and maximizing profits through developing ideal marketing strategies and marketing campaigns.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must have a Degree in Marketing/Marketing Management/ Degree in Business Management/Degree in Retail and Supply Chain Management from a reputable institution.
  • At least five Ordinary Level passes, including English Language and Mathematics.
  • At least one year working experience in a related field.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent working knowledge of social media marketing and digital marketing concepts.
  • Knowledge of Printed stationery sales 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, the successful candidates will be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Achieving sales targets and objectives outlined in the marketing plan.
  • Developing and executing effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • Engaging in personal selling, customer visits, and relationship-building efforts.
  • Identifying and opening new, sustainable markets for the company.
  • Conducting market intelligence and providing timely feedback.
  • Performing competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in the market.
  • Planning, implementing, and monitoring promotional and advertising campaigns.
  • Supervising and motivating Sales Agents, Merchandisers, and Promoters, and developing incentive programs.
  • Liaising with stakeholders to cultivate sustainable relationships, enhance brand association, and foster brand loyalty.
  • Searching for tender opportunities.
  • Organizing and coordinating sales promotions, special events, and trade shows.

POST B: RECEPTIONIST (X1)

The incumbent is responsible for handling all administrative support to all personnel and Public Relations tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least a Diploma in Secretarial Studies/Business Administration/Office Management Studies
  • At least 5 ‘O’ levels, including English
  • At least one year of working experience in a related field.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent working knowledge of social media marketing and digital marketing concepts.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties, among others:

  • Welcoming and checking in visitors to create a friendly and professional first impression of the company.
  • Responding to incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel, taking messages, or providing information as needed.
  • Addressing inquiries from clients, customers, and staff in person, over the phone, or via email, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Managing and coordinating appointments for staff to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
  • Maintaining accurate records of visitors, phone calls, and other relevant information while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages, ensuring proper distribution.
  • Providing support for various administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Arranging meeting logistics, including room bookings, equipment setup, and catering as necessary.
  • Keeping the reception area tidy and presentable at all times to reflect a professional image.
  • Communicating with various departments to ensure smooth operations and support company activities.
  • Collecting and relaying feedback from clients to management to enhance services and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitoring visitor access and maintaining security protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
