In a landmark development that is set to enhance the teaching and learning of students in the Faculty of Mining Engineering and Mineral Processing , Midlands State University Pro-Vice Chancellor, Business Development and Administration, Professor K. H. Wekwete has officially commissioned a consignment of state-of-the-art equipment, at the University’s Zvishavane Campus, for the Faculty’s Physical Metallurgy Laboratory.
The commissioning ceremony, that was held on the 23rd of February 2017, was attended by senior members of staff from within the University. Technical personnel who are in the process of training lecturers on the use of the new equipment also attended the ceremony.
