Sodew Investments (Private Limited) recently held a three-day strategic planning workshop whose core business was to lay a solid foundation for the sustainable development of the business entity.

Speaking during the workshop, Sodew Investments (Private Limited), Managing Director, Mr T. Chigwaza highlighted that the workshop’s main objective was to come up with a draft strategic plan, which would assist Sodew in its business ventures.

‘The workshop’s main goal is to establish a comprehensive management and operational framework that speaks to the vision, mission and core values of Sodew.

Establishing all this, will help to consolidate the rise and development of Sodew into a flourishing business enterprise’, said Mr Chigwaza.

Speaking during the course of the workshop, Midlands State University Registrar, Mr E. Mupfiga highlighted the importance of the workshop saying;

‘After this workshop, we expect Sodew to be vibrant and hyper-productive because MSU as a parent is looking up to Sodew as the economic savior. If Sodew fails, the institution will be in trouble. Therefore, this strategic planning workshop must be the foundation upon which Sodew’s success is built on’.

The workshop, which was held from 12 to 14 September 2017, at Kadoma Hotel and Conference Centre in Kadoma, comes shortly after the unveiling of state-of-the-art construction equipment purchased by Sodew Investments (Private Limited). The equipment is set to be used for MSU construction projects as well as other commercial projects for various commercial clients, to augment the University’s income.
