The Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development, Professor Amon Murwira has expressed satisfaction at the rate at which construction of the Midlands State University Innovation Hub is progressing. Speaking during a brief tour of the project site on Friday 20 April 2018, the Minister noted that innovation hubs were the bridge between knowledge and industry that will help to transform ideas into goods and services. Midlands State University is one of six state universities that are receiving funding through the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development to setup innovation hubs that are expected to foster entrepreneurship.
