Midlands State University has enrolled the second group of students who will undertake the Doctor of Business Leadership degree at its Harare Campus. The enrolment follows the admission of the inaugural group which kicked off its studies in October last year.
In his welcome remarks, at the DBL Orientation Programme, Executive Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, Dr. Shepherd Mupemhi told the students that they made the right decision to choose the pace setting institution, whose MBA programmes are internationally recognised and fully accredited by the Association of African Business Schools (AABS), the Central East European Management Development Association and the Association of MBAs (AMBA).
“We benchmark with other leading institutions in the region and internationally because we want to see how the leaders are doing it,” he said.
MSU Harare Campus Director Mr. Richard Duve said in addition to the accreditation of MBAs by various international business schools, the institution is also in the process of getting the Doctor of Business Leadership accredited.
“It is our vision to increase access to higher education and we will always ensure that all our programmes are internationally recognised,” he explained.
The orientation programme was attended by authorities from various University departments who took turns to explain to students about the support services available in the institution and also assist them in completing their registration process.
