To connect with stakeholders and enhance synergies with the local business community, Midlands State University took part at the annual Midlands Agricultural Show which ran from 28 to 31 October 2021 under the theme “Embracing Climate Change and Corporate Social Responsibility”.

The annual showcase which is one of the largest trade and business exhibitions in the Midlands Province was officially opened by the Minister of State for Provincial Affairs in the Midlands Province, Honourable Senator Larry Mavima on Saturday 30 October.

The show provided an opportunity for the University to market its programmes, innovations, and various business products offered by the University’s Enterprises Division.

The University’s exhibition which comprised members from various faculties and units among them Business Sciences, Education, Engineering and Geosciences, Agriculture, Environment and Natural Resources Management, Science and Technology, the Innovation Hub and the Enterprises Division won first prize in the University’s category.

Visitors to the University stand included MSU Registrar, Mr Tinashe Zishiri, who expressed satisfaction with the University’s exhibition.

The Midlands Agriculture show also served as a communication platform, allowing the University to interact and receive invaluable feedback from its valid stakeholders, among them alumni, government officials, captains of industry and members of the public.
