Department of Agronomy & Horticulture

Invites you to Register for the

Fruit Production Course 1

Citrus, Macadamia, Cashew, Banana, Avocado, Mango

April 19 – 23, 2022 .

 Did you know ?

If you plant one hectare of oranges this summer, you are able to harvest about 400 fruit from each of the trees in the next five years and continue harvesting for the next 35 years. Assuming your hectare has 400 trees, you can easily harvest 160 000 oranges from year 5 onwards and for the next 35 years, guaranteeing you an income of $16 000 USD every year at 10 US cents per fruit. The yield will likely increase as the canopy of the tree grows, so will your income.

If you want to know more about how to achieve this, join us for the one week course and

Get Your Certificate in Fruit Production Course 1.

Course fees:

ZWL 6000 [Local participants] USD 35 USD [Outside Zimbabwe]

Courier costs for the certificate will be paid by the course participant.
