Midlands State University’s Open Day on September 22nd welcomed a massive turnout of over 5000 high school students from across Zimbabwe looking to learn about degree opportunities.
Running under the theme, ‘’Securing Your Future with MSU,’’ the event allowed prospective students to interact with faculties, institutes and view exhibitions.
In her address, MSU Director-Marketing and Communications-Mrs. Mirirai Mawere explained the University’s multicampus system and highlighted the resources and facilities that the institution has which include farms and a number of needs-driven business enterprises.
She emphasized that beyond academics, MSU nurtures well-rounded individuals and offers extensive extracurricular activities catering to diverse interests.
Principal Assistant Registrar-Admissions, Mrs. Faith Mbwera advised the large audience on entry requirements for MSU’s various degree programs.
School groups from different provinces were entertained by performances from MSU’s ever-inspiring music band and engaging exhibitions of the University’s 10 faculties.
Midlands State University looks forward to welcoming another strong cohort of new students to take advantage of its excellent educational opportunities this coming academic year.
