Midlands State University’s Human Resources section conducted a one-day Code of Conduct awareness training session on the 12th of September 2024 at the Gweru Main Campus to consentise staff members under the Risk and Loss Control department on the University’s code of conduct.
In her welcome remarks, Director – Risk and Loss department, Ms. G. Mvududu emphasised the importance of the training session in guiding employees on maintaining professionalism within the workplace.
Whilst delivering his presentation, Senior Human Resources Officer, Mr. O. Chikandwa articulated the proper channels of communication that should be followed when reporting work-related grievances and encouraged staff members to conduct themselves professionally and embrace team spirit.
“As staff members, you are expected to conduct yourselves professionally, ethically, maturely and diligently so that the name of the University is not brought into disrepute,’’ highlighted Mr. Chikandwa.
The session also included a question-and-answer segment, allowing participants to engage with the topics discussed and seek clarity on relevant issues.
