In a display of ubuntu and responsiveness, the Midlands State University’s (MSU) Post Graduate Diploma in Tertiary Education (PGDTE) students from the February 2024 to December 2024 class, donated examination watches to the MSU Examinations department at the Gweru Main Campus on the 24th of October, 2024.
Speaking during the handover ceremony, the PGDTE class representative, Dr. R. Musavengane, highlighted that this gesture is an act of giving back to the #universityoffirstchoiceforall which spares no resources in supporting the education of its student body.
The Pro-Vice Chancellor – Academic Affairs and Administration, Professor Mcebisi Maphosa, lauded the students for their initiative, highlighting how their gesture dovetails with the university’s core values.
In her vote of thanks, the Executive Dean – Faculty of Education, Dr. A. Moyo expressed gratitude for the kind and thoughtful gesture by the students, indicating that this will encourage others to cement the sense of community with the University.
