It has come to our attention that our campuses are being visited by people with criminal and other ulterior motives who end up breaking into cars and rooms to steal valuable property belonging to members of the University community. In the interest of weeding out and discouraging such undesirable elements from frequenting our campuses, all staff and students should wear their University identity cards all the time while on campus.
Kindly note that the Campus Police is under instruction to enforce the wearing of identity cards by staff and students as well as bonafide visitors to the University. Those who will be found not wearing their identity cards without a valid reason may be charged with misconduct for undermining the security of the Institution.
