Welcome and thank you for the interest you have shown in Midlands State University (MSU). We are an institution that prides itself in nurturing talent and excellence. MSU offers unique degree programmes that inculcate both theory and practice through our flagship programme called the work related learning, which students partake in their 3^rd year for four year programmes and 4^th year for 5 year programmes.

The institution is the largest university in Zimbabwe in terms of student numbers with a student population of about 23000. MSU is a diverse and dynamic institution with students coming from the length and breadth of Zimbabwe and the globe.

Midlands State University has a long history of welcoming international students from around the world. Our beautiful campuses are situated in Gweru, Zvishavane and Harare all offering a cosmopolitan and friendly experience for our students. Students who are not citizens or permanent residents of Zimbabwe should apply to MSU as international students.

The International Relations Office is a unit dedicated to the recruitment and management of international students and is there to assist you in enrolling in our pace setting University. Think of us as a ‘first-stop shop’ – we have friendly staff trained to deal with a wide range of enquiries and provide key information and help on University issues.
