CENTRAL SERVICES, AMENITIES AND MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT
Post H: Drivers (9 Posts – 4 Gweru; 2 Zvishavane; 2 Kwekwe; 1 Harare)
Qualifications and Experience
- Valid Class 1 driver`s licence
- Defensive driving certificate and medical certificate is a must
- At least 30 years old
- A minimum of 5 years’ professional work experience as a driver with a clean driving record
- Must be of sober habits and demonstrate responsibility at all times
- Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations
- Experience in a professional tertiary institution would be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods, staff, or clients as required
- Ensure punctuality and reliability in all assigned duties
- Maintain vehicles in clean and roadworthy condition, reporting any mechanical issues promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Assist with loading and unloading when necessary
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and trip details
- Contributes to departmental success by performing all essential duties as assigned.
Person Specification

Post I: Assistant Painter (1 Post: Kwekwe)
Qualifications and Experience
- Class 2 or 3 Journeyman certificate in Painting
- A minimum of 2 years’ professional work experience as a painter
Key Responsibilities
- Skilled in preparing work areas and protecting surfaces before painting
- Experienced in scaffolding and ladder setup for elevated tasks
- Proficient in wall and surface preparation: scraping, sanding, and removing old paint
- Adept at filling cracks and holes with suitable materials
- Mixes paints and materials to achieve precise colours and textures
- Applies paint, varnish, and finishes with various tools and techniques
- Committed to strict health and safety practices on every project
- Contributes to departmental success by performing all essential duties as assigned.
