PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR-FOOTWEAR (FIXED-TERM CONTRACT)

REQUIREMENT

• Minimum of two (2) years working experience in shoe manufacturing processes in the Leather/Canvas industry with a supervisory role.
• Provision of any proof of certificate of service in the relevant industry would be an added advantage.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Reporting to the Executive Director, the successful candidate will, among other duties, be responsible for:

• Ensuring the daily register is marked correctly and promptly
• Checking all machines to ensure they are working as per requirement and report if there are any faults.
• Coordinating operations, ensuring the daily plan is delivered to the respective department
• Check daily, control and arrange good quality materials and components as per specification.
• Overseeing the production flow 
• Ensuring timeous submission of reports to Superiors
• Conducting a stock take 
• Working with other team members, including supervisors and engineers, to ensure the smooth running of the production process.
• Ensuring punctual completion of tasks to meet critical path deadlines
• Ensuring adherence to quality standards
