POST: MACHINE OPERATORS (FIXED-TERM CONTRACT)
REQUIREMENT
- Minimum of one (1) year working experience in the Footwear/Leather/Canvas industry, in a similar role.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the successful candidate will, among other duties, be responsible for:
- Tending specific machines for lasting, cutting, closing, and finishing footwear products.
- Performing routine maintenance on the machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Examining finished products for conformity to specifications, and reporting faults on machines.
- Working with other team members, including supervisors and engineers, to ensure the smooth running of the production process.
- Ensuring punctual completion of tasks to meet critical path deadlines
