PART-TIME COACHES
SOCCER COACHES- 2 GWERU CAMPUS
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Preferably a CAF C Coaching Licence or better or equivalent
- Have proven experience in one or more disciplines of sports.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- Effective leadership and communication skills.
- Capacity to inspire and motivate players.
- Strong management and conflict resolution skills.
- Has good public relations.
- Can work under pressure with minimum supervision.
- Is a team player.
- Experience in coaching for both youths and adults.
- Ability to teach the fundamental stages of athlete development.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implements high performance coaching standards, game principles, game strategies and review process.
- Possess strong leadership, character development, strong communication and organisational skills.
- Oversees and organizes training sessions and fixtures for the sport in charge.
- Plans and delivers comprehensive coaching programme that improves the performance and experience of the university teams and athletes.
- Leads coaching sessions, matchday activities and all trainings for the university teams, perfectly aligned with the departments overarching goals and objectives.
- Designing yearly budgets for the respective teams.
- Attending to any other duties assigned.
