Dr. Munetsi Zvavahera is a versatile researcher who gained vast knowledge about aquatic sciences, biodiversity conservation, ecotoxicology and fisheries management. He is a holder of an MSc with Walter Sisulu University (SA) and a PhD at the University of Fort Hare (SA).He has worked on the fishery potential of fish species, modelled the population size of fish in dams, and community projects dealing rehabilitation of ecosystems in Eastern Cape, South Africa. He has extensive communication education and public awareness skills after working extensively as a lecturer and high school teacher in Zimbabwe and South Africa. His aptitude in understanding SDGs is evident in his PhD fellowship work which had a strong relationship with SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 14 (Life Below Water). Work from his PhD thesis has been published in a regional journal, with other chapters accepted and under review in international journals. QUALIFICATIONS
