Dr. T.H. Chisi is a Senior Lecturer and PhD-History graduate from Rhodes University, South Africa. He teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses and supervises MA, MPhil and PhD candidates.

His PhD thesis is entitled: Transformations in Hlengwe Ethnicity in Chiredzi, Zimbabwe, 1890 to 2014.
