As Midlands State University students continue to reap the rewards of excellence, Marketing Management student, Tawanda Pauls Mashamba recently received a certificate of excellence from Trevor Dollar Real Estate for exceptional workmanship during his Work Related Learning stint with the organization.
Tawanda was awarded the accolade of esteemed distinction by Trevor Dollar Real Estates at a function held in Gweru, for his outstanding business management and marketing skills.
The award winning selfless protégé Tawanda Mashamba gave all credit to his bosses for transforming him into the person he has become.
“I want to take this opportunity to thank my supervisor Mr V. Wasara and the Managing Director Mr C. Wasara for their guidance and for the opportunity they gave me to serve as a Marketing Intern here at Trevor Dollar Estates.
“I also want to thank all other permanent members of Trevor Dollar Real Estate for the warm reception they gave me as well as their guidance throughout my work related learning period.
“Without their guidance and the opportunity they gave me; I wouldn’t be here right now. Thank You,” said Tawanda.
“I want to thank Midlands State University, Faculty of Commerce-Department of Marketing Management for moulding me.
“I am really proud of my University, ‘Our Hands Our Minds Our Destiny’ MSU is the best,” concluded Tawanda.
Midlands State University Acting Director of Work Related Learning Mr Maxwell Chaerera also gave a speech during the ceremonious event and expressed his heartfelt gratitude over Tawanda’s epic and trailblazing performance during his internship period.
“Tawanda Paul Mashamba you have made us proud,” Thank you for taking the name of Midlands State University to this height,”
He also applauded Trevor Dollar Real Estates for their valued contribution in moulding Tawanda into a complete product.
“Trevor Dollar you are an excellent partner in the development of skills for our future workers,”
“You helped Pauls to have a greater understanding of the real world of work which is ahead of him,” said Mr Chaerera.
Tawanda was awarded $200 as a bonus for his hard work.
The event was graced by journalists from several media houses including Midlands Monitor, The Mirror, The Chronicle, Star FM amongst others.
Midlands State University was also represented by the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Commerce Mrs Miriam Mugwati, the Acting Chairperson in the Department of Marketing and other senior lecturers from the Marketing department.
