Midlands State University Football Club (MSU FC), received a well timed boost ahead of the commencement of the 2017, ZIFA Central Region Division One football season when leading medical aid services provider, Bon Vie Medical Aid donated a football kit to the team.

The kit was handed over to the team at a colourful function that was held at Midlands State University on Wednesday, 5 April 2017. Speaking on behalf of MSU FC, the team manager, Mr Herbert Masukume chronicled the team’s history and highlighted that the team was positive that 2017 was the year in which the team would win promotion into the Premier Soccer League. Mr. Masukume expressed MSU FC’s gratitude to Bon Vie for the kit donation and noted that the donation would go a long way in boosting team morale.

Handing over the kit, Bon Vie’s Research, Product Development and Business Development Manager, Mr. Innocent Muchiwenyika expressed his delight at partnering with “the Students” as MSU FC are affectionately known and highlighted that his organization was hopeful that the partnership would prove to be fruitful.

The handover ceremony was attended by members of staff from the Student Affairs Division, members of the Student Representative Council, players from MSU FC and representatives of the kit sponsor. The 2017, ZIFA Central Region Division One season kicks off on Saturday 8 April, with MSU FC facing Kwekwe Stars in Kwekwe.
