Welcome to the Department of Humanities, Business Development and Arts Education. The Department offers 13 innovative and challenging programmes. The modules have been deliberately designed to make education relevant to changing needs of society, the growing shortage of attitudes and skills needed to promote entrepreneurship, the values needed for social harmony and problem solving, and the individuality needed for leadership, independent thinking and creativity. The humanities and arts programmes are at the heart of a liberal arts education which affords the student the ability to interpret personal experiences, become aware of the diversity of humanity and make life long choices from a range of perspectives. The department is committed to ensure the utilization of appropriate instructional methodology and relevant advanced technologies commensurate with technological changes.
