Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 2 years working experience in cleaning, house-keeping, landscaping or ground maintenance in a hospital setting.
  • 5 O levels including English 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cleaning, washing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing and vacuuming of designated areas    to the required standard.
  • Clearing up after flooding and/or any other emergency cleaning.
  • Moving furniture, equipment, and supplies.
  • Prepare venues for diarised activities & other events (e.g. Meetings, Conferences and Workshops) and ensure that they are ready on time and meet the requirements of each event.
  • Emptying bins and recyclables and transporting to disposal area.
  • Cleaning immediate external environment to buildings.
  • Cutting grass and mowing of lawns
  • Weeding and cultivating of flower beds and lawns
  • Watering and irrigation of flower beds and lawns
  • Pruning and trimming of ground covers, shrubs hedges and trees
  • Preparation of land for planting lawns and other plants
  • Planting lawns and other plants
  • Spraying for disease, weed and pest control
  • Pick up litter, sweep hard surfaces, rake leaves and weed pavers
  • Timeous collection and disposal of refuse
  • Propagation of plants
  • Maintain allocated tools and equipment in safe and usable condition
  • Perform any other duties as and when assigned by superiors.
  1. B) Nurse/Phlebotomist x 1 Post

Qualifications and Experience

  • A qualified Registered General Nurse with a diploma or degree in nursing.
  • 5 O level passes including English 
  • Current valid registration certificate with the Nurses council of Zimbabwe.
  • 2 years’ experience in a similar/equivalent position in any health institution.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Safely draw blood and collect swab specimens from patients on and off site
  • Explaining the procedure for self collected specimens to patients
  • Record specimens collected in appropriate logs and storing it in the correct environment
  • Warm and professional reception of clients for laboratory services
  • Addressing clients enquires, informing clients of laboratory tests charges and completion of
  • Assist with patient registration in the laboratory information system
  • Maintaining an organised and clean work area based on health and safety regulations and the laboratory guidelines
  • Answering patient questions regarding collection techniques and offering additional resources on 
  • the collection process, if the patient requests them
  • Implement ISO 15189 quality management system requirements for attainment of accreditation
  • Any other duties as determined by supervisor.
