Research Interests Pharmacological & Toxicological research. The kidney is involved in the excretion of many drugs & investigating the possible adverse effects of drugs on renal & hepatic function would be an excellent area of further study. During my post-doctorate work, I am interested in extending my research work to studies on the effects of pharmaceuticals alone & in combination with drugs on the development & functionality of organs. This includes drug interactions between herbal products & commonly consumed pharmaceuticals &/or drugs. I am also interested in investigating the effects of alcohol in combination with abused substances including nicotine, barbiturates & cannibanoid compounds on neurological, metabolic & other organ function.
